Alcoholic Beverages

No alcoholic beverages are allowed to be brought into the Metrodome.  Sale of beer at the concession stands is not allowed after the 7th inning for baseball and after the 3rd quarter for football.  During the game only two alcoholic beverages are allowed to be purchased per person.  Guests may not take alcoholic beverages out of the stadium.

 

We encourange fans to sign up to be a Designated Driver.  Fans may visit the 'Live Responsibly' booth located at Section 111 on the lower concourse during Vikings home games to sign up to be a designated driver.


Food and Beverages

FOOD AND BEVERAGES AVAILABLE - Concession stands are located throughout the stadium on the upper and lower concourse offering a variety of meals and treats.  You can enjoy pizza, hamburgers, Top Dogs with all the fixings, hand carved turkey or beef sandwiches, Mexican Tornados and Famous Dave's BBQ.  For our vegetarian guests we have Garden Burgers (Sec. 122 & 223), Blimpie Subs and Salads (Sec. 121), and Papa John's Pizza where cheese pizza is available (Sec. 204, 111, 119 & 224).  Ice cream, Maui Wowi fruit smoothies, soft pretzels, nachos and a variety of beverages are also available.  Credit card services are available at all service lines that are identified by signs.

Rent the Metrodome

Out of more than 300 event days per year at the Metrodome fewer than 100 feature professional or major college sports.  Amateur teams come throughout Minnesota and the surrounding states to compete on the Metrodome turf.  College and high school baseball, softball, soccer, football and and just about any event can take place at the Metrodome. Home and Landscape Show, Golf Show, Motorsports, weddings, private corporate functions or parties are just a few events we have hosted.

 

The rental cost for amateur sports is $500 per hour.  Scoreboard use ($35/hr) and use of the PA system is also available.

Rollerdome

Inline skating is available at the Metrodome November through March.  The admission prices are adults $6.50, students $5.50, pre-teen & seniors $4.50.  Skate rental is available for $5.  Beginner lessons are provided free of charge.  Group Sessions are also available.  Parking is free on the east side of the stadium at 5th Street and 11th Avenue.  The entrance to Rollerdome is through Gate D.  For the most current information and updates call (612) 825-3663 or visit www.roller-dome.com as dates may be added or cancelled.


Scoreboard Messages

Requests for scoreboard messages to commemorate birthdays, anniversaries, proposals, etc. during Vikings games should be made through Vikings Marketing at 952-828-6504.


Suite Information

Information regarding suite rental can be found by calling the private suite hotline at 952-918-8505.  If you would like information on the new Terrace Suites for Viking games call the hotline at 952-918-8505.


Ticket Office

The Vikings ticket office (612-338-4537) is located near Gate B on the east side of the Metrodome. 

 

Ticketmaster Will Call for Vikings games is located at the Gate B ticket booth.

 

The Twins ticket office is now located at Target Field. The ticket office number is 612-338-9467 (612-33-TWINS).  Their main office number is 612-659-3400. The Twins mailing address is:

Tours

 Walk-up Tours - (April - November)

§         Walk-up tours are Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.  (No walk-up  tours December  through March

§         Tours will not be conducted during "day events"

§         Meet at Gate F at 11:00 AM

§         The cost for each participant is $3.00

 

Reserved Group Tours -

§         Groups of 15+ participants are by reservations only

§         Tours can be scheduled between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, Monday through Saturday all year

§         Tours will not be conducted during "day events"

§         Each participant is $2.00 - minimum of $45

 

Tours are appropriate for all ages.  Call 612-335-3309 for information on scheduling a tour or to check on changes or updates regarding walk-up tours.


Volunteer Fundraising
