The Metrodome First Aid Team

The Metrodome First Aid Team

What is the Metrodome First Aid Team?

The Metrodome First Aid Team is a group of qualified volunteers who come together to provide immediate and temporary care to Metrodome spectators and staff that fall victim to accidental injury or sudden illness.  We are proud to be one of the few stadiums in the United States comprised of all volunteers. Emergency care is provided per the written standing order of the team's Medical Director Dr. Jeff Ho, a HCMC Physician.

The Metrodome First Aid Team is recruiting qualified volunteers for the upcoming season!

Each year, we assist nearly 5,000 spectators and workers during a wide variety of Metrodome events, including Vikings games; music concerts; motor sports events and other special events.  Our services are provided free-of-charge by skilled and dedicated volunteers.

How can you become part of "Our Team"?

Applicants must be certified in CPR, with additonal certification as a First-Responder, EMT, Paramedic or Nurse.  Volunteers will be asked to provide spectator care for about five hours at two or three events per month.  If you are qualifed and interested in volunteering for a full calendar year, please call our recruiting number at  (612) 659-3613 for additional information.
